It happens every couple of months. But that's not really why I'm posting this - although it was another "interesting" aspect to an "interesting" day. The mouse I ran out and got is not made by Microsoft - heresy I know. So when I plugged it in and booted up the computer it felt like I was trying to navigate with a 2x4. I've gone to the manufacturer's web site and I'm downloading the software for the mouse. 60 mg of software. For a mouse?
I can remember way back when one of our techies was thrilled that they had put a full megabyte in a desktop computer. And now I need 60 mg of software to run a mouse? It had better be qualified to participate in something like Dancing with the Stars.
