Caerleon Museum of Identity in Second Life

The Caerleon Museum of Identity show has opened with 18 artists pondering Georg Janick's thesis of the Ambiguity of Identity (Botgirl has more on the exhibit here).

I'm focussing on one of the artist's work in this post - that of Artistide Despres called I am only a Mesh. It is not only intriguing but also interactive. Note that this exhibit, and in fact the entire show, is much better than my photographs might imply. :)

There are 18 artists participating in the exhibition (from the notecard):

* Artistide Despres
* Cat Bocaccio
* FreeWee Ling (coordinator)
* Fuschia Nightfire
* Lollito Larkham
* Maya Paris
* RAG Randt
* Sabrinaa Nightfire
* Taralyn Gravois
* Wotthe Dickins

This last photo is of the artist dancing on one of her pieces. You owe it to yourself to go and experience the work of some of the really talented people in Second Life. The whole exhibition is worth visiting - but take your time. Lag is the anonymous 19th artist participating. :)
